India's evolving smart city paradigm is taking shape now as people will slowly start seeing the contours of what a smart city looks like. Following citizen consultations with more than 2.4 million people, 100 cities are now implementing concepts such as smart roads, smart solid waste management, solar rooftops and smart schools, to name a few. Also, leveraging IoT has become the key to designing these cities. The country's evolving mobility play and architecture will impact the lifestyle of the citizens in a huge way. To add to it, how India is now in the radar as a hotspot for new age technologies such as EVs, Hyperloop and Pod Taxis.
